The pdf is excellent. Every chapter and subchapter is bookmarked, while the index leads directly where it is supposed to. Even though the text breaks down even more, below sub-chapter level things are rather easy to find. The art is definitely brighter on the pdf, with more details being visible; I presume the quality of the printed version's gloss paper has something to do with it.
